The Husky (Cobalt Cream)

-7 oz. Shmidt Spirits Cobalt
-7 oz. Sweetened condensed milk
-3 oz. Heavy cream
-1 tbsp. Chocolate syrup
-1/4 tbsp. Instant coffee
-Garnish with fresh ground nutmeg


Warm heavy cream in a sauce pan, and add in the instant coffee to dissolve.

Mix with sweetened condensed milk, whiskey, and chocolate syrup.

Once combined, place into container and then chill in freezer to temperature.

Keep chilled and serve neat or on the rocks.

Garnish with fresh ground nutmeg and enjoy!


It's a long July 4th weekend, and that means we thought you all might want something cool and sweet—and a lot of it. So here we are with our play on a cream liqueur, which should make just under 18 ounces of the delicious, frosty beverage. We nicknamed our Cobalt Cream 'The Husky,' after master distiller Brian Roan's new rescue dog, a husky who happens to be named Bailey. So mix up a batch, and share with your friends!
